RRB ALP, Technician Admit Card 2018: How and where to download from

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be releasing the admit cards of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician recruitment exam 2018 soon on its official website, the link for which is www.indianrail.gov.in

As per the schedule, RRB will conduct the first stage examination for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician posts on August 9, 2018.

Meanwhile, the mock link for the CBT along with exam details like city, date and session with be released today, July 26.

 

RRB ALP, Technician Admit Card 2018: How to check the scores

  1. Go to the official website, www.indianrail.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, select your region
  3. Click on the admit card link
  4. Enter all the required information such as roll number, date of birth and password
  5. On submitting the same, admit cards will be displayed
  6. Download and take print out of the same for future reference.

Exam Pattern for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technicians

  • The competitive exam will comprise 4 sections and will be of one hour duration
  • The total number of questions in the test will be 75
  • The four sections in the question paper will be Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness and Current Affairs
  • There will be 20 questions in mathematics section, 25 questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 questions in General Science, and 10 questions in the General Awareness and Current Affairs section
  • Type of questions: Objective

The recruitment notification was released in March by Indian Railways (CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018) to fill a total of 26,502 posts available with 17,673 for assistant loco pilot and 8,829 posts for technicians.

Selection procedure

For Group C:

  • The selection will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • The qualified ones will then have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Question papers will be provided in 15 different languages to ensure opportunities for candidates across India
  • Those who have opted for ALP and qualified in the second stage CBT will have to undergo computer based aptitude test (AT).

 

For Group D

  • The selection will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • The qualified ones will then have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
